Attendance (check-in/out)
Record check-in and check-out from a phone, turnstile or fingerprint device, and track late arrivals, early departures and absences.
Each employee uses the Attendance section to record their own check-in and check-out. Managers and users with permission also see the daily table and the monthly summary. Late arrivals, early departures and absences are calculated automatically from the employee's work schedule.
Checking in and out from your phone
Open the “Attendance” section from the menu, or the “Check in” button in the bottom bar on your phone.
When you arrive at work, click “Check in”; when the browser asks for location permission, allow it.
When you leave work, click “Log out”.
In the “My check-in/out” block, see today's status, your work schedule and your entries, and the “This month” table below.
Viewing your team's attendance
On the “Daily” tab, select a date: who has arrived, who is late, who is absent and who is expected.
Click an employee's row to see all of their entries for that day, the source (phone, device, import, manual) and the location.
On the “Monthly summary” tab, select a month: see days present, working hours, late arrivals, early departures, absences and incomplete days.
Correcting and importing entries (admin)
For a forgotten entry, click “Add record”, select the “Employee”, “Time (Baku)” and “Type”, and enter the “Reason”.
In the employee's day window, correct an entry's time with the pencil icon or cancel the entry with the cancel icon; a reason is required in both cases.
To upload an export from turnstile or fingerprint software, click “Import” and select a CSV, TXT or XLSX file.
Set up offices, devices, the grace period and employees' device codes in the “Attendance (check-in/out)” section of Settings; the work schedule is set in the user form.
Rules
The time is taken from the server; the phone's clock is not used.
For phone entries, the location is checked against the office radius. If an employee without the “May work outside the office” permission is away from the office, the entry is saved but shown to the manager with a warning icon.
If “Location is required for phone check-ins” is on in Settings, you cannot record an entry without location permission.
The same type of entry cannot be repeated within 2 minutes.
Employees cannot change their own entries. Only an admin can correct entries, with a reason; the old and new values remain in the “Correction history”.
Other people's attendance is visible to users with the “Attendance — View” permission and to managers for their own team.
If “Notify the manager about employees who have not arrived” is on, the manager and admins are notified about employees who have not arrived after work starts (once the grace period has passed).
Weekends and holidays are not counted as working days.Attendance is available on the Business and Enterprise plans.
Each employee has a main office, other allowed offices and a check-in rule (set when the user is created or in Settings → Attendance): “turnstile / device” — turnstile, fingerprint or Excel import only, no phone buttons; “phone — at office” — by phone, only within their own offices’ radius; “field” — by phone, GPS recorded, no radius check; “mixed” — both ways. Office staff are not forced to check in by phone.
Night shift: if the schedule ends before it starts (e.g. 22:00–06:00), morning records belong to the day the shift started, and lateness and early leaving are calculated accordingly. Records with a future time cannot be added; future-dated records from devices or files are skipped.
If the same check-in/out arrives from different sources (phone, turnstile, Excel) within 2 minutes, it is counted once. Link a device to an office (Settings → Attendance → device → office) — its records are stored with that office; the device’s last connection and clock difference are shown there. A manual record can have an office; it is shown as “manual — not GPS proof”. If a phone record has no location, it says “Location not received”.
The grace period affects the status only: lateness beyond it is counted in full from the schedule start. The users list shows the schedule type: “standard” (Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00), “individual” or “no schedule” — lateness is not calculated for such an employee.
