Product fields, IMEI and serial numbers

Custom product fields from the sector profile (brand, model, excise...) and per-unit tracking: receipt, sale, “who bought it” search.

Every company sells something different: a phone shop needs IMEI, an alcohol seller needs excise stamps, a potato seller needs nothing. The company’s sector profile (chosen at sign-up) adds the right fields to the product card. The admin can also create own fields in Settings → “🏷️ Product fields” — no code changes.

Working with IMEI / serial numbers

On the product card tick “Track every unit’s number” (shown when the company has a field like IMEI or serial).

Stock → “Stock operation” → Receipt: one number per line or scan them — the quantity equals the number count.

When delivering an order you are asked for the numbers of the delivered units (click numbers in stock to pick them).

In the POS, scanning an IMEI adds the phone to the cart with its number.

Stock → IMEI (number) tab: search a number — in stock, or sold to whom, with which order / receipt, and when.

A number is unique within the company; the same number cannot be received twice.

Tracked products have no “adjustment” — use Receipt or Issue (write-off) with numbers.

You cannot change tracking for a product with stock on hand.

A returned unit (POS return) becomes “In stock” again.
