Payroll and sales commission software for your sales team
Sales commission and payroll software: base salary, bonus schemes, taxes and deductions, approval and Excel in one system. Staff see their own payslip.
Common payroll and bonus calculation problems
When sales live in one program and the payroll sheet in another file, figures are copied by hand at every month end. Returns get forgotten, the same sale is credited to two managers, and employees only find out how their bonus was calculated after the month is over. The accountant loses time and the team loses motivation.
Bonus schemes for sales commissions
Each employee gets a base salary and a bonus scheme. You can create any number of schemes, each with several rules. Bonuses use the same sales and profit figures as the P&L report.
- A rule can be a bonus or a deduction, for example a percentage deducted from returns.
- Calculation: percent, tiered percent, when the target is met, per unit or fixed amount.
- Based on: sales (net of returns), sales before returns, returns, profit, payments received, deals won, new customers.
- Whose results count: own customers, own sales, team or whole company.
- Each rule can have a minimum threshold and a cap.
- In the Test box pick an employee and month to see the result without saving the scheme.
Monthly payroll
Choose a month and click Calculate to get a line for each employee: salary prorated by days worked, plus bonus and additions, minus taxes and deductions, advances and fines, giving net pay. Click a bonus amount to see the breakdown by rule. Days worked can be entered manually or taken from check-in records in Attendance. If new sales come in, click Recalculate and your manual entries are kept.
Taxes and deductions, approval and Excel
Your company enters the percentages for income tax, social insurance and other deductions after confirming them with its accountant; the system does not set rates by itself. A payroll starts as a draft. Once approved, the sheet is locked and employees see their payslips; after paying, you mark it as Paid. If changes are needed, send it back to draft. The sheet and the bonus breakdown can be downloaded to Excel.
Every employee sees their own pay
On the My pay page each employee sees their salary, bonus rules, approved months and the current month's bonus forecast before the month ends. Nobody else's data is shown. Sales managers can follow how their results affect their bonus during the month, which keeps sales team motivation transparent.
How to get started
Payroll is included in the Standard, Business and Enterprise plans. Create a bonus scheme and check it with Test, then assign a salary and scheme to each employee and enter the percentages on the Taxes & deductions tab. Your 7-day free trial starts when you sign up, with no bank card required.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between own customers and own sales?
Own customers means all sales to customers whose responsible person is this employee. Own sales means orders, invoices or POS receipts made by this employee.
Are returns deducted from a manager's commission?
Yes. With Sales (net of returns) returns are deducted automatically. For an extra penalty, add a deduction rule based on Returns.
Does the software set tax rates automatically?
No. Your company enters the deduction percentages on the Taxes & deductions tab after confirming them with its accountant, and the system calculates only with those percentages.
Can employees see each other's pay?
No. Each employee sees only their own payslips. The payroll sheets are visible to the admin, chief accountant and accountant, which you can change in Settings → Permissions.
